Unless you are a well-known personality, getting your life story published is likely to cost you anything from £1,000 upwards. If your book sells enough copies - and that's a big if - you could get your money back or even make a profit. BUT THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES! Book publishing and selling is a very, very competitive business. If I think I can help you, I will tell you how much it will cost. Once agreed, I will stick to that figure - no extra charges.
If your book is already written I can assess it for you. You don't have to accept my opinion - you can go elsewhere and no hard feelings. I can EDIT your book (as I did with "Life of Brian in Black & White" and if neccessary re-write it (as I did with "Baghdad Trucker").
If your book needs writing from scratch, I can do in-depth research to write it, as I did with "Proud to be a Geordie - the life & legacy of Jack Fawcett" (who developed the Newcastle Business Park and other major projects). I can interview relatives and friends, check newspaper files and study correspondence and other material. I regularly visit the British Library in London for research.
I am fortunate to have the help of my wife Frances who is a "whizz" at Family History and is very adept at tracking down distant relatives.
